Biography
I am Mariia Omelchenko, a dedicated advocate for education quality, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Beyond my academic pursuits, I continuously enhance my skills through online courses, webinars, and professional competitions, earning victories in national culinary contests.
As an expert for the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (Ukraine) and a member of the working group for “Food Technologies,” I actively contribute to improving education standards. Additionally, I manage social media for my department and serve as secretary of the scientific circle “Quality and Safety.”
I am the CMO of MedUpgrade, a digital marketplace for medical data and professional development, and I have led its strategic growth through international programs like InterHEI and The Demo Day by KTH in Warsaw. My achievements include earning my bachelor’s degree with honours, receiving the Presidential Scholarship of Ukraine, and being a finalist in USAID-supported acceleration programs.
I also co-organise webinars and the “Medical Visionary” international student competition, bridging food technologies and health sciences. As a volunteer with the Universal Youth Alliance, I aim to share knowledge, foster innovation, and contribute to impactful global initiatives.
