Biography

My name is Robert Ter-Hovhanisian, a dedicated advocate for youth empowerment, sustainable development, and humanitarian aid. I currently serve as the Country Coordinator of Armenia at the Global Youth Parliament, where I work to amplify the voices of young people and drive meaningful change in my community and beyond. I am pursuing a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at Synergy University, complemented by my studies in Political Science and International Relations through Hanyang University’s Remote Program (South Korea, 2019-2021). Additionally, I have completed online courses in business management and effective communication with The Open University (UK) and studied human rights, sustainable development, and environmental issues through the United Nations (April-May 2023). In November 2019, I founded the International Association of Humanitarian Aid, a charity program dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities. My professional experience includes serving as a financial analyst and equity income trader at Interactive Brokers from 2017 to 2022, where I developed strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. I am also a co-owner of a real estate business, which has further honed my entrepreneurial and leadership abilities. My diverse background has equipped me with a unique perspective on global issues and a commitment to fostering sustainable development and youth empowerment. Volunteering with Universal Youth Alliance aligns with my mission to create a more equitable and inclusive world. I am excited to bring my expertise, discipline, and passion for humanitarian work to support initiatives that inspire and uplift young people globally.
