I am Ammar Salloum, a dedicated professional with a background in International Relations and Diplomacy from Syria. Pursuing my passion for global affairs, I continued my master’s studies in Germany, where I have been actively involved in refugee affairs and policy implementation. After three years in Germany, I had the opportunity to work with the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, specialising in the First Asylum Law and refugee integration. My role evolved over time, and after two years, I was promoted to oversee the distribution of refugees across the state. Working with individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds has been both challenging and rewarding, reinforcing my commitment to humanitarian efforts. I take pride in the work I have done and remain eager to contribute further. Volunteering with the Universal Youth Alliance would allow me to expand my impact, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and continue advocating for refugee rights and global cooperation.
