Social Media Campaigner Policy Universal Youth Alliance (UYA)
By joining the Universal Youth Alliance (UYA) as a Social Media Campaigner, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Your participation is subject to compliance with these policies, and continued involvement requires adherence to these guidelines.
1. Eligibility and Responsibilities
1.1. Campaigners must be individuals who are passionate about youth empowerment, digital engagement, and social advocacy.
1.2. All campaigners are expected to create, curate, and share content in alignment with UYA’s vision and mission.
1.3. Social media campaigners are responsible for maintaining professionalism and ensuring their content adheres to ethical standards and UYA's core values.
1.4. Campaigners must regularly engage with UYA’s official social media platforms, share promotional materials, and actively participate in campaigns.
1.5. All content shared under UYA’s name must be verified, free from misinformation, and in compliance with digital ethics.
2. Content Guidelines and Usage
2.1. Campaigners must ensure that all posts, comments, and shared materials reflect positively on UYA and its initiatives.
2.2. Hate speech, discriminatory content, political propaganda, or any material that goes against UYA’s principles will not be tolerated.
2.3. UYA reserves the right to request edits, removals, or revisions to any content that misrepresents the organization or its mission.
2.4. Any official UYA logos, banners, or promotional graphics used by campaigners must not be altered without prior approval.
2.5. Campaigners must not use UYA branding for personal gain or unauthorized fundraising.
3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
3.1. Campaigners must not disclose confidential or sensitive information related to UYA operations, partnerships, or event planning.
3.2. Personal data collected during campaigns must be handled responsibly and should not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
3.3. Any breach of confidentiality will result in immediate termination from the campaigner program and potential legal action.
4. Engagement and Conduct
4.1. Campaigners are expected to maintain respectful communication with UYA team members, fellow campaigners, and the online audience.
4.2. Any disputes or conflicts within the campaign should be reported to UYA leadership rather than publicly discussed on social media.
4.3. Campaigners should avoid engaging in online conflicts, arguments, or any form of cyberbullying under the UYA name.
4.4. UYA reserves the right to suspend or remove campaigners who violate ethical standards or engage in behavior that damages the organization's reputation.
5. Social Media Contributions and Recognition
5.1. Campaigners will receive due recognition for their contributions through UYA’s platforms and certificates of appreciation.
5.2. Exceptional campaigners may be offered leadership roles, speaking opportunities, or ambassador positions within UYA.
5.3. UYA reserves the right to use, edit, and republish content created by campaigners for promotional and advocacy purposes.
6. Event Participation and Representation
6.1. Campaigners may be invited to represent UYA at local and international events.
6.2. Those selected for official representation must adhere to event-specific guidelines and maintain professional conduct.
6.3. Any misrepresentation of UYA during events will result in disqualification from future opportunities.
7. Termination and Policy Amendments
7.1. UYA reserves the right to terminate any campaigner’s role if they fail to meet engagement expectations or violate these terms.
7.2. UYA may update these policies at any time. Campaigners will be informed of changes and expected to comply with updated guidelines.
7.3. Continued participation in UYA’s campaigns implies acceptance of any revised terms.
8. Liability Disclaimer
8.1. UYA is not responsible for personal opinions expressed by campaigners on their personal social media accounts unless they directly claim affiliation with UYA.
8.2. UYA is not liable for any consequences campaigners face due to their social media activities.
8.3. Campaigners are responsible for ensuring that their content aligns with local laws and regulations.
9. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
9.1. By joining as a UYA Social Media Campaigner, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
9.2. You acknowledge that UYA reserves the right to modify, terminate, or review campaigner roles at its discretion.
