Biography

My name is Omar Alghoul, a 22-year-old Libyan undergraduate currently in my 7th semester studying Italian Language and Literature. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am an active volunteer with the “Iamtawfik” movement, where I contribute to providing humanitarian aid to families and individuals in need. I have also collaborated with organisations like UNICEF, White Hands Org, and Itizan to organise charity events and support vulnerable communities. I am a physically active individual with a passion for sports, including football, gymnastics, callisthenics, jogging, and weightlifting. My interests extend to reading, writing, and exploring classic poetry in Arabic, English, and Italian. I also enjoy hobbies such as playing chess, learning new languages, and exercising. Fluent in Arabic and English, proficient in Italian, and a beginner in French and German, I was chosen as the official translator for the Ashoor Classic Tournament for bodybuilding and men’s physique. I have a deep appreciation for art, particularly traditional crafts and educational events that showcase a country’s history and customs. I am also exploring opportunities to get involved in arts and crafts, as it aligns with my creative interests. Volunteering with Universal Youth Alliance aligns with my mission to empower communities and promote cultural understanding. I am excited to bring my diverse skills, passion for learning, and commitment to humanitarian work to support initiatives that inspire and uplift youth globally.
