Biography

My name is Antonina Shcherbakova, a passionate and driven individual with a unique vision to combine international law and cybersecurity to address modern global challenges. My journey began at the age of 16 when I enrolled in the Professional College of Kyiv International University, where I studied national law for two years. During this time, I also developed my language skills and actively participated in student activities such as debates and conferences. After completing my college education, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in international law at Kyiv International University. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for the IT sector, particularly cybersecurity. I attended various courses and explored different niches within the field, realising that I wanted to combine my legal expertise with technical knowledge to achieve something greater. In 2022, due to the war in Ukraine, I had to leave my home and start anew. This challenging period became an opportunity for growth as I immersed myself in cybersecurity and IT. I completed courses from Microsoft and IBM, interned at companies like Spotify, H&M, and LinkedIn, and gained hands-on experience at ABF. In 2024, I was awarded a scholarship to study at the IU International University of Applied Sciences, where I will continue to advance my knowledge in cybersecurity over the next three years. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am deeply committed to volunteering, particularly in animal welfare. I work with wild and aggressive animals, helping them through love and trust and advocating for their well-being. Volunteering with Universal Youth Alliance aligns with my mission to bridge the gap between law and technology while contributing to meaningful causes. I am excited to bring my expertise, passion, and dedication to support initiatives that inspire and uplift communities globally.
