Biography

My name is Alvyn Chang Weng Kam, a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, sustainable development, and global peace. As the Founding Local President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bukit Bintang, I have dedicated myself to creating platforms that empower young people to drive positive change in their communities. JCI is an international NGO that promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) through impactful projects and collaborations with stakeholders worldwide. In my role, I have initiated annual Peace Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to raise awareness about the UNSDGs and foster dialogue on achieving global peace. These summits have inspired thousands of individuals and communities to take action toward sustainable development and harmony. As the founding president of my local JCI chapter, I have led initiatives that engage young people in meaningful projects, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to become leaders and change-makers. My work focuses on promoting inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation to address global challenges and create a more equitable world. Volunteering with Universal Youth Alliance aligns with my mission to empower youth and promote peace. I am excited to bring my leadership experience, passion for sustainable development, and commitment to global harmony to support initiatives that inspire and uplift young people worldwide.
